Author & Illustrator Carol Mazurek has a BFA from the State University of New York (SUNY) in Buffalo, NY, and a Master’s degree in Pastoral Ministry. She has received awards in photography, mixed media collage, and watercolor art work. Carol presently resides in beautiful West Virginia where she is surrounded by God’s creation, inspired daily to paint, write, draw, garden, and photograph.

 

Carol was inspired to write Patches, Stay Put! based off of the real events surrounding her family's found-and-adopted cockatiel, Patches.
